Sunday Postcard Art - Picnic

This week I get to host at the Sunday Postcard Art with my choice of theme, which is PICNIC.  I chose this theme because I wanted to stitch this ant.  I was worried how his little legs might end up looking. I was surprised to be so pleased.  And ants go so well with picnics.  This little guy is on his way to a picnic right now.

My postcard backside...

I'm anxious to see the variety of picnic art that my fellow postcard artists will create.

Happy summertime!

Your ant looks a bit lost, glad you provided him (her?) with a signpost. That's tremendous how you have made her look like a real ant with the spindly legs and the multi-bit body. Clever stitching with the letters too.

What a clever idea! Insects are for us one unpleasant matter in picnics but sure they must have to eat too 😉
Happy Sunday ♥

Annie, The legs turned out perfect. This ant is so cute I would invite him to my picnic. He really ought to have a name and a profile or maybe a biography.
